Now here's a quick meal if you need one. Most people are familiar with Baliwag and Andok's. Can't blame them. Those are the rotisserie chickens of my childhood. Chooks, however, managed to worm its way into my heart in no time flat. It's pretty good for fast food rotisserie chicken. There's a certain salty sweetness to the skin that isn't too overpowering. The good bit is that the flavor goes in straight to the meat so there really isn't any need for lechon sauce or gravy. It's flavorful enough on its own. And it isn't tough or dry at the least. It's easy to break apart and they pre-cut it before handing it over to you so you don't have to worry about having to know how to carve a hen. Also, have I mentioned they deliver? For a delivery fee of 30php, you can have them deliver chicken straight to your door. Not a bad deal, if you ask me.
